Material Dynamics
Verra is a redesigned coffee maker focused on simplicity, efficiency, and material exploration. After deconstructing an existing machine, I identified ways to reduce parts and streamline functionality. The design combines wood, glass, and metal to create a product that is functional, aesthetically thoughtful, and easy to use. To further explore materials, I built a box from a single piece of wood and vacuum-formed a casing to organize jewelry. This resulted in a jewellery box that highlights how different materials interact, encouraging engagement with texture, form, and function.
